What is this site about?

This website provides access to the Art Gallery of Ontario's collection of Lodz Ghetto photographs by Henryk Ross. It is an accessioned collection of photographs Ross took during his confinement to the Lodz Ghetto from 1940 to 1945. His collection of images is presented here for use by teachers and their students, the public and interested scholars.

What is tagging?

We invite you to help us tag images. A tag is a description you give an image to help other people find it through browsing or searching. Tags will eventually make our database even easier to search. The tag field appears on the right-hand side of each image.
