    Description

Mordechai Chaim Rumkowski appears in the centre. To his left are photos of workers in "ressorts" (ghetto workshops), on the right, a photo of the barbed wire fence that surrounded the ghetto. In the upper right is the symbol of the Star of David with the number 10 inside it, indicating the value of the stamp (ten pfenning). The text reads, in German: 'Jewish Post' (Judenpost), and 'Litzmannstadt Ghetto', the German-occupied city of Lodz.
